During filming of season 1 of WW2 Treasure Hunters, the archaeologists we had along as consultants, (and indeed diggers!), not only provided excellent technical advice, but also helped plan and conduct the digs, record finds and put together reports relating to each dig.
It was fabulous working with the guys from Suffolk Archaeology CIC, and both Tim and Ted learnt as much from us and we did from them! At least they know the difference between a bullet and a cartridge case now!
Here are the reports for each episode. I have contributed to them through the precise identification of all the military finds, as well as giving the historical background to each site, hence my inclusion in the author list. I did actually help write them!

Brilliant what great detail. Not to sure what a fluxgate gradiometer is, desperately trying not to ask if it is any like a Flux Capacitor.
